Walk & Talk Therapy

Walk & Talk Therapy is exactly that. We walk beside each other and talk.

Sitting face to face can feel a little too intense for some people. Moving the body. Walking alongside each other, can release a little bit of that pressure. Some people find it easier to share this way.

There’s a solid amount of research supporting the value of simply being outside in the natural environment, surrounded by trees, and plants, and rocks. Out in the sun, soaking in the natural light. It can help to regulate the nervous system, bring you into presence, connect with something bigger than your current self. The point is, its healing in its own right.

Walk & Talk Therapy can be great for anyone who is tired of sitting in a chair, or finds it too intense to sit face to face, or someone who prefers to connect with the rhythm of the outdoors.

As a PACFA-registered counsellor with additional training in outdoor leadership, I combine therapeutic skills with experience in guiding safe and meaningful experiences in nature.
